I received products from Mediterra for my review. All opinions and photos are my own.
I do my best to only bring healthy snacks into our home. When you have healthy foods in your home, you are less likely to eat junk. Snacks are no exception to this rule. I try to have an assortment of nutritious snacks for us to choose from. I recently discovered Mediterra bars and thought they were a good fit for us.
Inspired by the Mediterranean Diet, Mediterra bars are made with natural ingredients; fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds, Greek honey and olive oil. All bars are sourced responsibly with NON GMO suppliers and are all Gluten-Free. Mediterra bars were made to give you the protein, fiber and vitamins your body craves and needs.
For my review, I was sent two savory bar flavors: Olive & Walnuts and Sun-dried Tomato & Basil. I received two sesame energy bar flavors: Orange & Honey and Pistachio & Honey. I was also able to try two yogurt & oat bar flavors: Cherry & Pistachio and Apricot & Pistachio. Each of the bars had a unique bright flavor palate and nice chewy texture. All the bars taste great; though, I preferred the Orange & Honey Sesame Energy bars.
Mediterra bars are a convenient way to enjoy a healthy snack while on the go. They are perfect to toss in your bag for a full day of running errands. They are a nutritious snack after your workout. Mediterra bars are also a great pick-me-up during that afternoon energy crash.
Don’t forget to think outside the wrapper too. Mediterra bars are a creative topping for some of your favorite dishes. Crumble a Sesame Energy bar and add it to a yogurt parfait. Add a Yogurt & Oat bar to a seasonal fresh fruit salad. The savory bars are a great topping for soups.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I love that these are gluten free. You usually don’t see olive oil in a bar. It’s usually coconut oil or some other oil but I bet the taste is not that different. I would try these.
