We received three different costumes from Costume Express this year. Our little girl just turned one and we were sent their adorable Pink Poodle Costume in size 12-18 months for her. Complete with floppy ears, arm bands, and anklets, this poodle offers a unique look that is both shaggy and completely precious. This costume does run true to size for us and I would warn against sizing up as the hat is a little more generous already and slightly big on our daughter. (I count this as a good thing in Minnesota because I’ll be able to put a Winter hat underneath and then top with the costume hat.)
Our 5 year old loves anything with weapons! So a turtle (which has a shell!) that can fight, is quite fascinating to our little boy. So he picked out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo Costume and matching sword. Once the costume was on hand, it definitely didn’t disappoint! Full of details including a plush shell, waist belt, arm bands, L badge, and even masked eyes on the hood, Leonardo looks awesome! Based on the size chart measurements, we ordered the size small and it fits great!
The last costume was a Cleopatra for our 10 year old. The first costume had a defect and Costume Express was very quick to ship us a replacement as they were adamant that anything less than perfect was unacceptable! The sizing on this ran 8-10 but based on the size chart, I chose to size down because the design is a long dress. Thankfully, we chose right and this dress fit perfectly as well. This set includes both the Cleopatra dress and headpiece. The dress has an attached belt, draped sleeves, and decorative collar. The headpiece is bedecked with jewels and dangling beads. It’s a beautiful ensemble and our daughter loves how comfortable and flowy it feels.

Cute kids 🙂 I just love the poodle costume it’s adorable.This sounds like a great place to get costumes they are very unique I have a 10 year old who would just love the Cleopatra costume it’s really pretty.I love the accurate size every time that’s awesome no more guessing and getting the wrong size.I have a 4 month old little girl and i’m hoping that poodle costume is in her size. I just love looking at Halloween costumes. My Halloween Pinterest board has some ideas for me but the kid’s costumes are the funniest. Love the poodle costume too. I can spend a bunch of time looking at how people dress up their pets for Halloween also. Never gets old!

Oh my! Your little poodle is adorable! As is, of course your Cleopatra and Ninja Turtle! Though the Ninja Turtles have a special place in my heart! Loved the original Turtles!
