I received products from HoMedics for my review. All opinions and photos are my own.
My daughters, ages 6 and 8, have been back in school for about 4 weeks now. This year, we are on a new routine. Over the summer, we moved further away from the school. Now the girls have a much longer bus ride to school. The girls get up around 5:45 am and need to be at the bus stop by 7:10. With them getting up so early, they also go to bed early, around 7:30 pm.
To help the girls sleep better, we got them each a sound machine. Our sound machines came from HoMedics. Savannah has the SoundSpa and Cheyenne has the SoundSpa Digital FM Clock Radio with Time Projection.
Savannah’s SoundSpa has six soothing natural sounds. It is also equipped with a timer to shut off after 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Savannah uses the SoundSpa when she is winding down for the night. Depending on how late it is, she sets the timer and then cuddles into bed with a book. When the machine turns off, she knows it’s time for lights out.
Cheyenne’s SoundSpa Digital FM Clock Radio with Time Projection has all the features she wants. Depending on her mood, she can chose from eight peaceful nature sounds or the FM radio. This machine also has the ability to project the time on the wall. The blue projection light is a soothing dim night light. Cheyenne usually plays the radio when she goes to bed. She likes having the projection night light and radio on throughout the night.
Mom needs to relax too! I received a Shiatsu Neck & Shoulder Massager with Heat. With the Shiatsu Neck & Shoulder Massager, I can select a deep kneading massage, vibration massage or both. Press the heat button and tight muscles melt away. I like to use the Shiatsu Neck & Shoulder Massager about 30 minutes before heading to bed. It soothes my tight neck and shoulder muscles allowing me to fall asleep faster.
With our new HoMedics products, our whole family is getting a better night of sleep!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Id love to have the spa with nature sounds. Ive actually been thinking about buying the neck massager. Walmart has it for $20. Your girls are getting so big and very cute 🙂

I’ve never used a sound machine but with a police and fire station nearby, along with major freeways and the Burbank airport, I sure could use one, lol. I do use earplugs sometimes so I really should check this out. It’s not too expensive either.
