My husband and I recently joined a local gym. We aren’t really looking to loose any weight but to instead build our bodies to a better muscle tone, and improve our cardio endurance. When first attending I felt a bit out of place as I have no clothes that are specifically for the gym/working out. So I had a lot of feelings of disappointment while trying to feel better about my body. This was not very positive for my ambition to actually go to the gym. There were days I felt I didn’t really want to go just because I was the person in regular clothes. Street clothes not only didn’t make me feel confidant in the gym but they also weren’t comfortable. I was so happy to find Kiava a very fashion forward fitness clothing company.
Kiava has a lot of really feminine feeling sports bras. The style of the bras are perfectly designed to compliment the shirts available and vise versa. I received the Endurance Bra in mint blue along with the Scoop Top in Black. I love that the pieces mesh so well together and are pretty interchangeable, although they all work on their own as well. The fit was pretty accurate with normal sizing, although I did find my sports bra to be slightly on the smaller size. The fit of the bra however reminded me of a tight compression type bra, so really good for running and jumping. The breathability of the Scoop top was so appreciated especially compared to the street clothes I was wearing previously. The Scoop top is very flattering to the body shape while also being loose and movable.
I felt very confidant while in the gym working out wearing the Kiava clothing. I think feeling good is such an important detail when facing body imperfections, I know I personally could use all the confidence I can get when in the gym atmosphere, and Kiava did just that for me.
I am a stay at home mother of two, who loves to create in every form, from cooking, to henna, to painting or sculpting, creating with my hands is my passion! I love to dance and let loose when the music flows right. Being outside is a special kind of therapy I think humans need more of as well as mindfulness! I love all things new and adventurous and am always looking to experience more of life 🙂

I love the mint blue color and black combo. I have some light blue and black camo pattern shorts I wear non-stop so this sports bra is on my radar. I wish I could wear just a sports bra at the gym since it feels cooler but they have a dress code and you have to cover up (but I don’t at home thankfully!) Thanks for the review.
