If you’ve been an Emily Reviews reader for any length of time, you may have noticed that I have a favorite pencil sharpener…and with good reason. Classroom Friendly Supplies Pencil Sharpeners are completely awesome! I never knew traditional pencils could be this sharp. It amazes me every single time I head to the shelf and grab the sharpener down as the results are perfect each and every time. These sharpeners even create a fantastic point with the “cheapies” that the kids love as they are typically the prettiest pencils around. Whereas I used to throw them away, I’m happy that the kids can now utilize them and still have a good writing experience.
And now, they came out with the best color yet! Purple! I love the shade they chose and it’s a great addition to their current line up of Pink, Green, Red, Blue, and Black.
As I mentioned, Classroom Friendly Supplies Sharpeners can sharpen anything but I have learned one handy trick when it comes to colored pencils. It seems as if I need to stop a little before the sharpener on those as otherwise the tips break. With all other pencils, I just put them in and turn the handle until the sharpener stops pulling them and they come out perfect. The cheap pencils are no longer whittled away into scraps as they sharpen just as perfectly as regulars.
As a mom, homeschooling teacher, and human being who uses pencils, I can’t rave about this product enough! I’ve given these sharpeners away as a gifts a couple times and the new owners have loved them! Our big local homeschool co-op has also come together and done several buys for them too. They are truly that awesome!

I love the pink one. Yep I hate those pointy-points! They break on me every time. I have to have sharp pencils so I prefer those mechanical ones but I get some regular pencils free and need to keep them sharp too.
