I received a pair of MAIA Hipster LunaPanties, a cloth thong pantyliner as well as 3 cloth inserts for review. These Lunapanties are made with a leak proof core and removable inserts to make sure your panties can be fully adjusted to your body and flow. The Lunapanties are so soft, and the fit was pretty amazing. The Lunapanties are slightly on the taller side but anything to keep my underwear from stretching out and hanging off me during my period are ok by my book!
The cloth pads were definitely a different experience than a normal disposable pantyliner or pad. During day 1 or 2 of my cycle things are really happening and I’m very used to the dry wicking that occurs in most disposables. The cloth pad didn’t have the dry feeling effect, which I think is something you have to get used to when transitioning from disposables. The Lunapanties alone were a similar feeling to the cloth pads in that things didn’t feel dry, but I did appreciate the non leaking core that they have. The Lunapanties for me would be the perfect panties to pack or wear while waiting for your period to start.

I do need to ditch the disposable liners. I use them every day just because it makes me feel fresher. This is a great alternative and I like the high cut thigh options in the panties.
