I received products from Purdy for my review. All opinions and photos are my own.

For the last month and a half, we have been living in our new home. Fortunately, the house is in great shape. The only thing to do is update the interior paint. Our living room was a dark burgundy/eggplant color. We wanted to paint it a warm and calming light gray. I spent a lot of time researching paint colors and testing them out on our walls. Who knew there were so many different gray paints?! We finally chose our paint color‐ Lunar Surface.

Before I could make it to the store for supplies, I was asked to review painting tools from Purdy. I jumped at the opportunity! For my review, I received a generous collection of Purdy products including: Nylox brushes, White Dove rollers, a Dual Roll‐Off Bucket, and a POWER LOCK Professional Grade Extension Pole.

Nylox paint brushes were created for latex painting. The brushes are made with 100% nylon filaments for an even finish. I found that they gave me a smooth coat and were comfortable in my hand. The tipped and flagged designs were great for cutting in the corners.

White Dove rollers can be used with both paints and stains. They are made of high‐density Dralon covers. Dralon is a derivative of nylon. White Dove rollers worked very well to cover our textured walls with an even amount of paint.

Dual Roll‐Off Bucket can hold up to five gallons of paint at a time. It has a dual roll‐off grid inside to allow multiple painters to work at the same time. A side pour spout made it easy to empty our leftover paint. The ergonomic handle made it possible for me to carry it from room to room.

POWER LOCK Professional Grade Extension Pole has a quick‐connect thread attachment to connect to your Purdy roller. A padded handle brought comfort to my hands while I was painting. The POWER LOCK Professional Grade Extension Pole worked well when we were painting the tall walls in our staircase.

We still have about ½ of the house to paint, but we are getting there. The house is really starting to feel like home. We love it!
