Some of you may remember I introduced all of you to the Sleeping Baby Zipadee-Zips a couple months ago. I’m back to report our extended results. (We have actually co-slept with all five of our children but were having some issues recently with baby #5, who was about 10 months at the time. You can read more about what we were going through and our original thoughts over at my first Zipadee-Zip Review. Results: We’ve been using our Zippy for a couple months now and our daughter has become a completely independent sleeper……in her crib for both naps and bedtime! She now rarely co-sleeps and actually prefers to snuggle up in her crib in her Zippy. She has also recently turned one and started taking steps and it amazes me that she is even able to walk around in her Zipadee-Zips.
While my original Zippy (and the two I have since purchased) were made from cotton, Sleeping Baby also offers a wonderful Fleece Zipadee-Zips option that is perfect as the weather begins to change and cool down. These are great for cooler climates and can be used wearing just a diaper underneath and baby is kept nice and snug.
Zippadee-Zips also can be utilized as a wearable blanket for stroller or car rides to protect the little ones from Mother Nature’s crisp bite. I’ve used our Zippys in the car before and they allow easy buckling with their ingenious star-shaped design.
When purchasing, be sure to yield to their sizing chart so the little one gets the full comforting effect of this amazing product. Buying too large, which is something I tend to do so we get more use out of clothes, would eliminate the comfort feeling they receive from the Zippys. Our little girl is about 23 pounds and is snug as a bug in a size medium with room to spare until she sizes up at the next weight.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
