Gotcha Covered Notebooks sent me personalized notebooks for review. All opinions are my own.
I like gift giving during the holidays to feel heart-felt. I love giving handmade gifts but with a big family doing a lot of homemade gifts is really time consuming. To make my purchased gifts feel more heart felt I try to find gifts that really match up with the recipients personality so they know it wasn’t a last-minute item that I bought without much thought.
Gotcha Covered Notebooks make notebooks that come in a wide variety of themes and designs so you can find a notebook that matches the interests and/or personality of your recipient. The notebooks can all be personalized inside with college rule, large rule or “practice” available for notebook lines. Practice is big blue/red lines that are great for kids who are learning how to write whether it’s a preschooler or kindergartener just learning their letters or whether it’s an older child learning cursive. You can also opt for “sketch” which provides blank pages for sketching or doodling. For kids who like to write and draw you can choose sketch/lined or sketch/practice which means the upper half of the page is blank for drawing while the bottom half will be lined. Other options include graph, password, recipe or checklist.
You can also choose the size of each notebook small, medium, large or reusable. Plus, each notebook can be customized to add a name making the gift ultra-personal while also decreasing the odds that the notebook will accidentally be taken over by someone else.
I was sent a variety of notebooks that I will be giving out ot my nieces and nephews. I have two five year old nephews who are still working on handwriting so I chose “practice” lines for them. I chose a cop car for my nephew Gabe who currently loves to play cops with his toys, and a camo splash for Drew who likes wearing camo.
For my 8 year old niece I chose an owl print on front and wide rule so she could use her notebook for school. For my 9 year old niece who loves to draw I made hers a sketch book for the inside pages and chose a doodle outside to show off her love of drawing and doodling.
Sketch on left, practice on right.
I’m really happy with how each of the notebooks turned out because they all show off the kids’ personalities on the outside while meeting their writing or drawing needs inside. Gotcha Covered Notebooks are great for kids but the recipe, password and checklist options would be great for adults who like to stay organized as well. There are plenty of Gotcha Covered notebook cover designs that would appeal to adults.
I chose size large for each of the notebooks and each notebook was $14.99. Orders over $30 ship for free and there is a notebook design of the week each week which is always 50% off.
Win it: FOUR Gotcha covered notebooks. Prize pack includes 1 large, 1 square and 2 small notebooks. Winner can choose the customization for name, paper type and cover design for each notebook. Giveaway is open to the US and will end 11:59pm EST on 11/18/2015.
