I am so thankful that I live in an age where online shopping is so common. Shopping online and having products delivered to my door is so convenient, especially during the holiday shopping season. I like avoiding the crowds and staying in my house where it’s warm. I try to stick to a tight budget while gift shopping so I am always seeking out online deals when I shop online.

Cyber Monday is one of my favorite days to shop for holiday gifts online because so many websites offer free shipping and other great deals. However, I have already started shopping because I have a big family and I want to make sure I have plenty of time to search for the perfect gift for each person I shop for. I have been using CyberMonday.Com to find great online deals and discounts already.
On the CyberMonday.com website you can filter deals by free shipping offers, gift card offers or by category. I get really disappointed when I see a great price on an item only to find out that the shipping is really overpriced, so I love the free shipping category. I have also enjoyed taking advantage of the categories option for recipients who I haven’t come up with a solid gift idea for yet. For example, my nephew was just born last week so he’ll be about 7 weeks old at Christmas. I know that my sister got a lot of gifts for him at his baby shower that he’ll still be using around Christmas so I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to get him. I clicked on the Babies, Kids and Toys category and then saw that it breaks into more detailed categories including a few that will apply for my nephew like Apparel – Babies & Kids, Babies & Kids Toys, Baby Gear and Services and Toys & Games. I decided to look at Baby Gear & Service deals and several retailers came up offering deals.
From there you can click the plus sign to see just the deals in the category you’re in, OR you can click on the store logo to see all the deals from that store. I thought Kmart might be a place where I could find deals for multiple family members so I clicked on the Kmart logo which brought up several deals, a coupon code and even their holiday toy book.
I like how the CyberMonday website lets me view and compare the sales, coupon codes, limited time offers and special savings events going on at various websites all from one website. They compile deals from over 800 websites! It saves me a lot of time when compared to visiting each website individually and looking around each site to find the deals that apply to the category I’m interested in. If I look at too many websites I tend to get distracted from my goal, so being able to view all the deals from CyberMonday.com keeps me on task and gets the job done faster. The site updates regularly so you can check back each week to see which stores have new deals until all of your holiday shopping is done.
On Cyber Monday the CyberMonday.com website will be highlighting hte deal of the hour every hour. Some offers will be exclusive deals only available for people visiting through CyberMonday.com. You can sign up at the bottom of the Cyber Monday site to be sent the best deals and offers directly to your inbox.

I’ve not heard of this site but I get great suggestions from fellow bloggers that organize the sales around the holidays, as well as weekly ads. Tracking 800 Web sites is more than enough for me! I don’t shop as much as I used to but living in LA, it takes forever to drive to stores and get through the crowds. Online shopping just makes more sense.
I do a lot of on line shopping as well because my kids are ALWAYS with me and it is hard to get any shopping done in secret that way. Not sure what I am getting my kids this year – I’m sort of telling them they really don’t need anything .
I had not heard of this site. Looks great! I really try to shop locally, but second to that is online rather than store shopping because it’s so convenient.
This is awesome. I also love to shop online. It’s my preferred method. If I don’t have to leave the house to go shopping I wont, I would much rather be in my jammies with a glass of wine.

I must admit, I don’t usually take advantage of Cyber Monday deals but I think this year I will because I am looking for a new computer. I would also like to get a large monitor as I like to read on a big screen (my eyesight is not great).
Thanks for all the tips! I’ve become a recent online shopping fanatic since being a new mommy, and now plan to take advantage of online savings for Christmas. But even as a daily venture, online shopping can be overwhelming searching all the sites and also getting duped by that overpriced shipping (which I also hate!) I will definitely be using CyberMonday.com as well as all your advice 🙂

I also find online shopping has more of a selection, if you can not find it instore, there is a big chance you can get it online!!
