Vtech toys sent me toys for my holiday gift guide. All opinions are my own.
I’ve purchased Vtech toys for my toddler or preschool-aged nieces and nephews and have had several of the Vtech toys be big hits with the kids. So when it comes to shopping for gifts for younger kids, I often look up Vtech and their newest products.
Kelsie is now 2.5 which is a fun but odd age between toddlerhood and regular childhood. She’s interested in many of the toys that her 5 year old brother Drew likes, but she can’t manipulate detailed or small toys as well as he can. I decided to turn to Vtech to see what kind of toys they had that might interest her and found several great options.
Kelsie has been interested in baby dolls for over a year now but her interest in them has gotten more detailed since her baby brother was born about two weeks ago. Baby Amaze is a Vtech doll that has more features and functions than your average baby doll. Baby Amaze can learn certain words like ‘mama’ when your child says those words to the doll. She also comes with a bottle, pacifier and book. I think this doll is great timing with Kelsie getting a little brother because all interactive aspects of Baby Amaze encourage your child to nurture the doll and help teach it new things.
I continued browsing Vtech for gift ideas for Kelsie and the Go! Go! Smart Friends line caught my eye. I had heard of the Go Go Smart Wheels line but I didn’t know about the Smart Friends line. The Smart Friends line is basically hand-held little dolls and play sets that let kids pretend play house, family, school, etc. The Go Go Smart Friends Busy Sounds Discovery Home is a little dollhouse for Go Go Smart Friends dolls. The house includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, play room and outdoor play area. It’s a great starter set for young girls interested in doll houses. Go Go smart friends products can connect with other Go! Go! smart toys so you can create a whole town or community by connecting sets.
