There are lots of great yard games, tailgating games, and backyard BBQ games on the market these days and GoSports offers some traditional ones as well as unique ones. Most recently, I’ve had the pleasure of receiving their GoSports Giant Playing Dice Set. While I had never seen super-sized dice for sale before, other than a home-made set on a local selling site, I thought these looked awesome when they came to my attention.
Included in this Giant Dice Set are six dice that measure in at 3.5″ x 3.5″ x 3.5″ each. They are hand crafted from solid pine wood. The dots are heat stamped so they will not rub off over time! Plus, GoSports has even included a canvas tote bag for storage and travel.
These dice are able to be used indoors and out, which is really nice. While sturdy and heavy duty, they are not exceptionally heavy which makes them great for all ages. Whether rolling once die at a time or all six dice at once, the sky is the limit for what can be played. Use them for a game of giant Yahtzee or another classic board game or make up a new game to play! (Because they are made from wood, they should not be exposed to water for any prolonged period of time and should dry out before storage should they happen to get wet.)
Our family has been using these Giant Dice for a handful of family friendly games and everyone from our 1 year old all the way up to my husband and myself are able to join in on the fun. We make sure to stress that we never throw the dice at anyone (or any pets) but we haven’t had any issues or incidents thankfully. Overall, great product that is fun and would make a unique gift for any age!

Super fun!! We go to hubby’s aunts cabin up north all the time in summer and we play yard games!! I’ll have to tell her to add these to her arsenal! We would have tons of fun with them!!
I didn’t know they made dice like these either but I think it’s a great way to get active with board games like Yahtzee, which I love to play. They are pretty to look at t00–a real conversation piece–and a great gift for a couple you hang out with and play board games with.
These are so cool! I’d love to replace tiny little dice that are a choking hazard for little ones with these. I think my ten year old would like the novelty of the big dice too. 🙂
I think these would be great fun. I reaally like the size of them, and like that they look sturdy and would llast. I could see this at picnics, tailgating like you mentioned just so many places.
It looks like kids love them but adults would have fun too!
