​​As a kid I loved getting newspaper ads or catalogs around the holidays that had pages of toys. I’d flip through the pages circling all the toys I dreamed of getting. I remember flipping past pages of clothes, household items and food to find the toy section. Kmart knows that toys are a HUGE part of holiday shopping for most families, so they create a special list of their hottest toys to make things a bit simpler. They call their list the Kmart Fab 15 Toys, and it’s a great resource to check out if you’re still needing more gifts for your own kids or something for a niece, nephew or even to use as a donation item.
Kmart has toys for all ages and stages of children and they sell popular brands like Disney Frozen, Barbie™, Lego®, Nerf®, and Star Wars. The Kmart Fab 15 Toy list is put together by suggestions from kids, parents, industry experts. Kmart even has a Kid Toy Advisory Board. The kids on the board are the children of Kmart employees and they serve as toy experts to give their opinions on toys to Kmart.
Here are a handful of the items that you’ll find on the Fab 15 Toy List this year:
Play All Day Elmo
For kids 1-2
Playskool Sesame Street Play All Day Elmo.
Paw Patroller
For kids 3-5
Paw Patroller by Spin Master.
Furreal Star Lilly
For kids 6-8
FurReal friends Star Lilly the Unicorn by Hasbro.
Lego Popstar Show Stage
For kids 9+
Lego® Friends Pop Star Show Stage.
Kmart fab 15 toy list
The list does a great job of showing what’s popular right now in my opinion. My nephew Gabe loves Paw Patroll and will be getting the paw patroller for Christmas. My 9 year old niece loves Lego Friends and doesn’t yet have the Pop Star Show Stage set so I know she’d love it. I also found great gift ideas for my other nieces and nephews while browsing the toy category on Kmart.com/toys. Kmart even has some toys that are exclusively sold at Kmart so if you know a kid who has a lot of a certain line, buying a Kmart exclusive option might be a safer way to avoid purchasing something they already have while still bringing a big smile to their face on Christmas morning. Last year I got my kid-sister something she had been asking for for months and I’ll never forget how big her eyes got when she opened it and realized it was exactly what she wanted.
