Thank you to Britax for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
I’ll let you all in our upcoming plans. This year, my parents are taking the family on a Spring Vacation to Disney World and a 3-day Cruise! The last family trip was six years ago, back in January of 2010. Back then, my husband and I only had two children. While we managed the airport alone with our kiddos, we had four additional adults “on deck” the rest of the trip. This time, we are traveling with eight adults and NINE KIDS (with most being 5 and under except for our 8 and 10 year olds!) So we will most likely be left on our own, as I know my parents will be busy helping my brother and his wife with their three kiddos. That means my husband and I will be left to our own devices to keep our five kids safe, occupied, fed, and entertained! To say that I’m a little bit nervous is an understatement. Especially since our group will be flying with two car seats as well as all the luggage needed for 17 people.
To help us get through the airport and survive the rest of our trip with car seats in tow, Britax sent me two of their Car Seat Travel Carts for review. In preparation, I unboxed and attached one of our car seats to see how the process would work. There was no assembly, which was awesome. I just flipped down the cart, pulled the telescope handle up, and it was ready for a seat. It’s designed to use the LATCH system to attach the car seat firmly and securely and I was able to get a tight fit on my first try.
So our 3 1/2 year old hopped in and I buckled him into the seat. To test, I wheeled him around the house and was utterly amazed at how weightless he felt! He’s a solid boy at just over 33# and it was so easy to tip him up and wheel him about on the easy glide wheels. The cart itself has a steel frame and is quite light. It folds down into a compact size that fits into small spaces and most overhead airplane bins. Overall, this is an awesome product that I am confident will make our trip go a little more smoothly.
So a huge thank you to Britax and I can’t wait to update everyone again on how the Britax Car Seat Travel Carts performed once we get back from our trip!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

We used a similar system years ago when we went to San Francisco! It was a blessing to have the ability to have a seat on the plane plus the stroller.

I have a few carts I use that are especially helpful when my carpal tunnel syndrome reappears. The first cart I had carried a 20 lb harp. Although I could carry it with my hands, carts sure make it easier. Loaded with a child, it really makes the trek so much nicer. Fun for the kids too!

This would be perfect for us since we travel often and carrying the car seat is so much work along with a toddler!
