I have to say that this Winter really seems to be flying by. A typical Minnesota Winter can be filled with below zero temps, several feet of snow, and unbearable wind but this year has been fairly mild so far. Our first snowfall came after Halloween (thankfully as we’ve been known to have major snowstorms that day!) and only lasted a short time before melting away. The kids made it out in time to build a snowman that round as the weather was gorgeous. Since then, we’ve had a few other small snowfalls but, over all, it’s been a gentle Winter. Our 3 year old son needed a new pair of boots and was thrilled to receive his Stride Rite Made2Play Sneaker Boots, aka the Snoot! While he actually enjoys having help getting ready, he gets frustrated if shoes and clothes are hard for him to use when he does try on his own. So the design behind the Snoot is awesome! Because they are lightweight, he can easily maneuver the boots as he puts them on. With the fold-down top and wide opening, he slips his feet right in. If heading out in the snow, we pull the ankle up but it’s awesome to leave down if just running errands or on a quick trip to Grandma’s house.
The Stride Rite Snoot is really awesome! I love the careful design that went into these boots, right down to the stretch lace front style. These boots look great, perform well, and fit perfectly. We highly recommend them!
