Coobie sent me products for review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve loved the Coobie brand since I first tried one of their bra’s several years ago. I was surprised at how their bras ar marketed as a one-size-fits most bra that spans sizes 32A to 36D as bra sizes seem so finicky that a one size fits all seemed impossible. Yet after trying it I loved it because it really did fit me, and it was the most comfortable bra that I owned.
I bought several bras and wore them for a few years with regular wash before I finally lost the straps and wound up tossing them out. I have been eager to get some new ones as I missed my old ones, so I was excited to partner with Coobie on a review. I thought the timing was perfect for Valentine’s day because I know a lot of women like to get lingerie for Valentine’s day.
I was sent a sampling of items from the Coobie line including the Coobie Lace Coverage bra in black, the coobie sports bra in hot pink, seemless ankle leggings in black and the Coobie camisole with lace and padding.
My previous Coobie’s were the scoop-neck and v-neck lace trim styles so everything I was sent was new for me.
The lace coverage bra doesn’t dip down like the other Coobie bra’s do, and the entire outside is covered with lace. My plan for this bra is to pair it with shirts that are v-cut so that it will look like a camisole without me having to actually wear a full camisole. I have a few summer tops that are too low-cut for my comfort zone, but wearing a full camisole under a tank top is just too warm in the summer here in Michigan.
The sports bra I was sent is unique from other Coobie bra’s because it comes in small, medium and large and is made with a nylon and spandex blend. I’m a little embarrassed to admit how ignorant I was on this, but I’m sharing in case others out there thought the same way I used to. I am not well endowed so I had been working out in regular bras since July when I started working out. I thought sports bras were primarily for women who needed the compression when moving or running which I didn’t really feel the need to have because of my smaller size. Silly me! I was talking to a friend about how I get really hot and then really cold mid-workout and she said that happened to her until she started wearing the right athletic apparel that would draw the sweat away from her body. I was already wearing athletic bottoms all the time, and I try to wear athletic tops as well although I only have two so I sometimes wear a regular tank as well. I decided it was time for a sports bra and I really regret not making the switch earlier. My back seems to sweat the most during workouts and having this sports bra kept that area of my back from staying as wet and helped me avoid getting those chills. I really need a few more of these because I love not getting cold like that during my workouts but I don’t have my own washer/dryer so I need more to rotate through.
Coobie leggings are one-size like their bras. I usually wear a juniors small and these fit me. They are a bit long but I can pull the excess fabric toward my ankles and it works fine. Even in individually sized leggings I always have the extra fabric because I have a very short inseam which is 26 inches which is 4 inches shorter than most junior or women’s jeans come sized at. While being a bit too long, they seem to cling to me a bit more than most of my other leggings. I’m not sure if the material is just designed to be very clingy or if they are designed for women with smaller thighs. Despite fitting a little tighter than I expected, they are comfortable and very wearable for me. On me these are not see-through even when bending. They have a slick and stretchy feel to them and I’ll be using them for lounging around the house, pairing under tunics and over-sized sweaters and probably sleeping in them too.
The last item I was sent was the camisole with lace and padding. I like camisoles with the built-in padding so they can be worn without needing an additional bra underneath. The camisole is shaped very similar in the chest area to regular Coobie bra’s and the fit is similar, but they of course are just part of the full shirt. The camisoles are one-sized for sizes 2-12 or bra sizes 32a-36D. I usually wear a junior’s small so I was surprised that the camisole fit me very snug. I would not feel comfortable wearing this on its own because it’s too tight on me. Thankfully, I primarily use camisoles to pair under other shirts that are low-cut and this will still work fine for that. I think they would be a better fit for tall and slim people where my body type is more pear-shaped.

I’ve heard of Coobie and I agree that the thought of a bra that fits a variety of sizes fits well seems false. I’m impressed that you said it works well so I’ll take a better look at it!

I won a pink Coobie bra for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness and also doubted one-size fits all, but it was free, lol. I’m within the size they said it covered but found it a bit uncomfortable after a while wearing it. Probably not for a D cup, I’d say.
