When it comes to traveling with children, there are a lot of things to pack and keep track of.  Whether heading out for an afternoon, a whole day, or on vacation, an organized diaper bag can save my sanity.  In the midst of planning our Spring Vacation, I realized that I needed to get a diaper bag that could be easily carried and wrangled through airports, transportation, and busy days of constant go.  Not to mention, it had to be something my husband could carry as well since I’ll most likely have our youngest strapped on my back in a carrier for a good share of this trip.  Thankfully, DadGear has us covered.

From their unique Billboard collection, we received a one-of-a-kind Original Diaper Backpack.  Because this line is created from billboards that were destined for the trash, each bag has personality and is unique.  After cleaning and sanitizing the pieces, they are incorporated into a DadGear Bag creating something awesome and turning trash into treasure!

DadGear Backpack Diaper Bag Features:

• Baby Wipes Window:  Front and center, these awesome bags offer a special pocket for baby wipes.  Designed with a sturdy velcro opening, wipes are super easy to access and just as easy to exchange out when the pack is empty.  This is the first bag I’ve had with this feature and it’s quite handy.
• Diaper Hammock Pocket:  This feature was a new one to me and I am absolutely in love with it!  Diapers are suspended in their own shallow pocket above the large main compartment keeping them handy and easy to grab.  No more digging to the bottom of the bag or wondering how many diapers are left!  With this special pocket, I have a bird’s eye view.  I can fit 12 (size 4) disposable diapers in there with a tiny bit of room to spare and the zipper still working perfectly!
• Two Side Bottle Pockets:  Built into the side of the bag are two zippered bottle pockets that are large enough to easily fit my big water bottle or any bottle or sippy cup I’ve tried.  The zipper allows it to stretch open for easy access.
• Side Mesh Pockets:  Added to each side is a mesh bottle pocket perfect for keeping a bottle, snack, or other small items handy.
• Clam-shell Opening Main Compartment:  Another really unique feature to this bag is how the main compartment opens.  By completely unzipping, it opens clam-shell style  and allows me to see and have access to everything in it without having to dig!  LOVE this feature so much!  I am super impressed with the size and functionality this pocket offers!
• Two Additional Zippered Pockets:  There are two more pockets with a variety of compartments and pockets for ultimate organization.
• Changing Pad:  DadGear has even included a changing pad that conveniently fits in the second zippered pocket.
• Light Colored Interior:  By designing their bags with lighter colored interiors, contents are more easily distinguished.
• Stroller Straps:  Built right into the design of their bag, stroller straps are readily accessible and can be easily stored away when not in use.
• Ergonomic & Comfortable:  Designed with an ergonomic shape and padded shoulder straps, the DadGear Backpack Diaper Bag is easy to use and carry.

I am completely amazed and in love with this bag!  I have our youngest, who is 16 months old, almost completely packed for this 7 day vacation with our DadGear Billboard Backpack Diaper Bag!  The only thing I’ll need to finish her luggage are some more diapers!  In our DadGear bag I have: 12 diapers, pack of wet ones, diaper cream, sunblock, wet bag, 2 sunhats, 2 swimsuits, 10 outfits, 3 pajamas, 1 Zipadee-Zip, and a blanket!  With practically everything we’d need for a 7 day trip, I expected this bag to feel bulky and heavy and it doesn’t!  It is only weighing in at 8# which is barely noticeable when on my back.

My husband is also amazed at everything DadGear has to offer.  He’s super happy with the style as he thinks it’s great that I FINALLY have a bag for him to use with the kiddos!

I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
