Polaroid Z2300 digital camera review

Thank you to Polaroid for providing me with product in exchange for review purposes. All opinions belong to me.

There are so many digital cameras on the market, while most have amazing features, none of them solve picture tangibility. I always hear my family talk about never having time to print pictures off from their camera. While there are some apps that can send your photos to a pick up location such as Walgreens, this still costs time and effort. Polaroid has always been known for bringing a true sense of instant to photography. Older Poloroids were famous for shaking the picture and waiting in anticipation to find out whether someone had blinked and you wasted your photo paper. As the modernization of photography has advanced, Polaroid has walked right along side and even taken a step further than most digital cameras on the market.

The Polaroid Z2300 features a 10 megapixel camera, which can really transfer to a poster size photo with great quality. Technical features like 6x digital zoom, anti-shake image stabilization, 720p HDvideo at 30 fps and 32 MB memory built-in are some of the capabilities you’d expect out of most digital cameras you’d buy. Where the Polaroid Z2300 really steps its game up is in the features like 2×3 inch color prints, in a mere 45 seconds! Not only do you have amazing quality prints but the prints are smudge resistant, tear resistant and water resistant! The paper needed for the camera is Zink Zero Ink paper. Adding borders, adjusting red eyes, and adding color filters are options all available before printing the final picture.

Adding the paper into the camera is as easy as it gets. Opening the screen reveals the paper compartment.

Open the ZINK Zero Ink packet and make sure to place paper pack Smartsheet (blue) down and photo paper glossy side up.

The camera then uses the correction card to calibrate the printing system.

As I mentioned before adding borders color filters and more is available before printing. I chose not to add a border to the final print.

I love that you can select which picture gets printed!

Polaroid has really decided to continue it’s tradition of staying ahead of the camera competition with the Z2300. I really like that pictures are no longer stuck within a camera on a memory card that could at any time get ruined or lost. The pictures are perfect size for dashboards, wallets, and more. Smudge and water resistance means no worries about keeping your photo close, no delicacy needed when storing and handling your photos.

This is very cool to read about since I have a no frills instant mini camera from FujiFilm. I have colored borders film but this border film is great. It’s on my wishlist and sure it well go down in price with a sale.

Okay, this is amazing! I love my Polaroid Instamax camera, but often wished the pictures were better quality and that I could have digital copies of them. This is the best of both worlds! I also love that you can add borders and filters before printing. Very cool!
