January is closing fast and February is upon us. Along with the next month comes Valentine’s Day, a day that is celebrated by many. Whether spreading love to friends, family, or even strangers, this holiday reminds us of the importance of kindness, giving, and love. With the upcoming celebration, I was sent the VeggieTales Silly Little Thing Called Love DVD for review.
Today was a blustery cold day in Minnesota and a great day to snuggle up and stay indoors. So after lunch, the whole family headed to the living room to enjoy this new DVD.
Silly Little Thing Called Love is actually a trio DVD that includes some Veggietales favorites: The Story of Fibber-O-Loo, Duke and the Great Pie War, and Madame Blueberry. Mixed in are some great “interviews” with little veggie children about love and what it means. Of course, no VeggieTales movie would be complete without Silly Songs and Silly Little Thing Called Love includes four! Get ready to laugh and enjoy these special features that include: Endangered Love, His Cheeseburger, Love My Lips, and The Bunny Song.
Our family loves VeggieTales and this particular DVD is another reason why. It was funny, entertaining, and engaging, all-the-while teaching lessons on love, kindness, and learning about God. We would definitely give this movie two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
