I grew up loving to read. Each Summer, I would look forward to our monthly visits to the library where I would return with 3 to 4 grocery bags packed chalk full of books. Since my sister and I were home alone a lot, there was little else to do besides read and I was more than happy to engage in this past time. It turns out that our older daughter is a mini-me in many ways, including my old reading habit. It’s almost laughable at how similar we are. Up until about child #3, I would still stay up all night long when I was engrossed in a good book. If we don’t give her a deadline to turn out the lights, she does the exact same thing. So I’m always on the hunt for good, wholesome books to introduce her to and I just came across a great new series from Faithgirlz called Glimmer Girls.

It’s been a crazy busy week so our daughter has only just begun Glimmer Girls London Art Chase but it seems to be a great read and she’s loving it so far.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I also loved going to the library to check out books. I’ve not seen these books and think they’re great. I follow the young adult authors that write for a slightly older audience, tween to teen.
