Thank you to KitchenIQ for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
I love being in the kitchen and preparing delicious home-cooked meals for my family. When my husband and I first got married, I didn’t have much for great kitchen gadgets and tools. So I just got by but wasn’t able to fully enjoy the experience because, as most people know, innovative and great quality kitchen tools make a big difference. I recently learned about KitchenIQ, a division of Smith’s Consumer Products, Inc., and they sent me some fun products for review.
Pepper Tool
It just so happened that I was preparing for our daughter’s birthday party and was creating a pasta salad that included peppers! So I was able to test out this handy Pepper Duo Tool. Since it comes with two sized tools, they core and clean peppers of a variety of sizes and are quite easy to use. Our 8 year old son was even able to efficiently run the tool. The tips are quite sharp though and definitely hurt if poked! (Speaking from experience……) These are dishwasher safe, though, which is always a great option to have.
Potato Tool
This multi-use Potato Tool offers coarse bristles on the top side of the peeler while a pairing knife is tucked neat and secure on the bottom of the handle. Being an all-in-one tool, this can save time and money while keeping the utensil drawer less crowded. We found the peeler to be really easy to use and our three older kids (ages 5, 8, and 11) were each able to peel their own potato with it.
3 In 1 Mini Prep Tool
Get ready to clean, peel, and dice with this handy little gadget. Mini in size, this prep tool is perfect for aiding me when making soup. It easily performs as the blade and peeler are quite sharp and the bristle edge is perfect for cleaning. NOTE: While the blade works fabulous for softer vegetables like celery, it was a little difficult to use on the carrots.) The handy design makes it easy to hold and I love the included covers for both the bristles and peeler ends. The blade tucks neatly into the center of this tool for safe keeping as well. Simple and oh so handy!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I like the 3 In 1 Mini Prep Tool but it may be too tiny for my big hands and long finers. I like my larger veggie brush. I eat a ton of carrots and it’s a pain to clean them. I want a gadget that cleans them for me!
