Many companies and stores offer special perks, points, and rewards for utilizing their company, store, or products. While I’m all for signing up for loyalty programs that offer benefits, many companies have been cutting back and reducing the benefits to their customers.
For years, I’ve been earning reward dollars by utilizing a credit card and then paying off the balance each month. While I like the fact that this not only saves me money on check blanks, I LOVE when I can call in and redeem my dollars every couple months. When I first signed up, I could redeem at any increment after the “Cash Back Amount” reached $50. This was great as I was able to call and get my full rewards. Then, a couple years ago, they changed their benefits. They upped the minimum to $100 and will only give out the reward checks in particular increments. So now if I had $118.50 earned, they will only mail me a check for $100. The rest would have to sit and accrue again. Not to mention, if I ever close the card, I will lose any amount waiting for me to hit their number requirements now. It’s very frustrating since they claim the money is mine for using their company versus another, yet they hoard over the benefit and no longer deliver in a friendly manner. Thankfully, there are still companies like Choice Hotels who care and strive to offer the best.
The demand for bigger, better, and faster rewards is not lost on Choice Hotels. They have recently introduced a variety of unique and bold changes to their rewards program that will bring improved perks to their customers faster than ever before!

Your Extras:Weekday travelers are rewarded with a little something extra as soon as they check in! Each qualifying weeknight (Sunday through Thursday) stay gets members a special reward. US members have five options including Fuel Rewards and Amazon.com credit while International members can choose between 500 bonus points or 100 airline miles from participating airlines!
FlexRewards: Get your free nights even faster than ever before. Members can redeem points at discounted levels, varying by season and participating hotels. There will be up to 2,000 hotels reduced at any given time during both weekdays and weekends.
Digital Gift Cards:Choice Hotels is the very first hotel company to offer up immediate in-app gift cards for instant gratification!
Keep Your Points:For as long as members stay active by completing a qualifying activity every 18 months, they get to keep their points.
10 Points:All 5,500 Choice Hotels now deliver 10 points per each dollar spent.
