I am a stay at home mom. I have two daughters; a 3rd grader and a 1st grader. We live in a small town where most parents are involved in the school, one way or another. I try to go on all the field trips and help with other tasks when I can. I also write product reviews and represent a health & wellness company. My days are full to say the least.
To keep things organized I rely on a day planner. I am a bit old-fashion in that I like to have an actual book rather than an electronic device. The day planner I currently use is the Flagship Edition Black Stripe, from Day Designer.
The Flagship Edition day planner comes in two sizes, mini and regular. The planner is designed with four components- space for your top three must-dos, a general to-do list, an hourly schedule section and my favorite, a place to note your daily gratitude.
Each Day Designer planner has 12 months of dated pages, two goal planning worksheets, inspirational quotes, monthly tabs, monthly calendars, weekly schedules, a front cover pocket, durable covers that can easily be wiped clean, protective gold corners, gold wire binding.
For the last few weeks, I have relied on my new day planner to keep me organized and on task. The first couple of days I had it, I made notes of family/friends birthdays and anniversaries. I scheduled school tasks as well as reviews.
Next, I hope to sit down with my family to do a bit of meal planning. If I can schedule our dinners, I believe I will be better prepared for grocery shopping.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
I love to plan and I love this planner. Even nowadays when almost everyone use gadgets to keep track of life I prefer paper and pen. I need to shop on their website, thanks for the review
This is really pretty. In my previous work, I used to need a planner, and I haven’t been using one. This is so nice, it is incentive to get it and get organized. I want to check it out!
I love all the extras like the inspirational quotes!! So awesome!!I am old fashioned in that I prefer to write everything down but I don’t have my life together enough to start lol!! I envy those who are prepared and organized like you!!
I dont do anything on an electronoc device for planning. Like you, I am an old fashioned ‘paper’ type gal. I have a book with birthdays and such in but this is a super nice planner. I like how interesting this looks and how nicely it is laid out!
Yep, I’m old fashioned too and just use a regular notebook for planning and for a daily diary. I don’t have a fancy phone and go nuts trying to keep the electronic things I do have, charged, so it just works better for me. These are lovely.
I love a paper planner and have used them for years,i usually check my planner during morning coffee on Monday morning for any events or appointments,meal planning or extra activities for the week.I love the ones you are reviewing very nice and i always enjoy the inspirational quotes!
