While planning our upcoming Spring Break Family Vacation, many worries and scenarios have gone through my head. The simple math of 8 adults but 9 children is already at the forefront but when I take into account that my husband and I will basically be on our own with five kiddos, that puts us at 5 to 2 PLUS luggage! So the very real possibility of someone wandering off at Disney has been a concern of mine. To prepare, I started looking at different options and suggestions.
Being Prepared In Case Your Child Should Get Lost On Vacation
Tip One: Take a new cell phone picture of each child every day so you will have an image of what they look like as well as what they are wearing, should the unfortunate incident of anyone getting separated from the group occur.
Tip Two: Prep each child with what to do and who to ask for help should they get lost.
Tip Three: Teach your children their full name as well as yours.
Tip Four: Label your kids! While one suggestion I saw was with a permanent marker, I’ve found a much better and non-toxic option with Mabel’s Labels.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. These labels are so much better than those ugly permanent markers that I would never use. When I used to sew years ago, I’d sew a label into my garments that said Handmade by Deb but these are thankfully so much easier to use!
