Thank you to Smart Games for providing me with product, free of charge, in exchange for this honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.

My daughters are 9 and almost 7 years old. When my almost 4 year old niece comes over, we have very few toys for her to play with. I want her to feel comfortable in our home and be excited that she is here. I decided to get a few preschool aged toys to keep at my house.

For our review, Smart Games sent me a Three Little Piggies game and a SmartMax Basic 25 set.

Three Little Piggies is a game for kids three years old and older. Players get to help the three little pigs build their houses and stay safe from the big bad wolf. The Three Little Piggies game is great for teaching problem solving and hand-eye coordination. The set comes with a picture book as well as a booklet with different challenges based off skill levels.

My niece Jordyn and daughter Cheyenne had a great time playing Three Little Piggies. Cheyenne took the back seat and let Jordyn try to figure out how to place the game pieces to match those in the picture. I was really proud of Jordyn. She never became frustrated when she couldn’t quite get all the pieces to fit.

MAXPicMonkey Collage

SmartMax Basic 25 is a fun construction kit for kids ages one and older. The pieces are large enough that it is safe for toddlers to play with. SmartMax comes with 12 medium bars, four long bars and nine metal balls. Each piece has a magnet in it, making it easy to connect the pieces.

All three girls had a lot of fun playing with SmartMax. Savannah showed Jordyn how the pieces attract/repel to each other….she happened to be learning about magnets in school that week. Cheyenne and Jordyn have fun creating things and then pretend playing with them.

I am excited to have a couple special toys for Jordyn to enjoy at our house.

(Sorry for the blurry photos. Trying to get kids to sit still when they want to play, can be difficult.)

Both of these toys look great! I have a 7, 3, and 2 year old, so sometimes it can be hard for my oldest to play with her younger siblings. I definitely think that they would all 3 enjoy this cute piggy game, and the Smartmax building set looks like a blast! I love that my youngest can’t fit any of the pieces in her mouth. 😉

My oldest two are 5 & 3 and would love these. Thanks for the review, I’ll have to check these out.

I love pigs (and would never eat one!) so the three little pigs game would be a perfect gift to gift any kiddo. You could pair it with an updated story book to also encourage reading.
