Thank you to Weleda for providing me with product in exchange for review. All opinions are my own.

Babies skin, a delicate, precious, oh so smooth texture. So many moms spend time making sure babies skin stays ever so smooth. What happens when despite all your efforts you little ones skin is rough, bumpy, red or itchy? A lot of moms will turn to an initial fragrance filled lotion without knowledge of the harms some regular lotions can do. Weleda is a company striving to provide consumers and moms alike with safe natural products for their families and babies. Weleda also knows the importance of keeping our environment healthy and strong.

My daughter and son have both mildly struggled with some skin issues, including dry rough itchy patches. Most times after a bath the rash spots would get red and inflamed. We had to be very careful with products placed on their skin as most would make the rash worse. We found we needed to be very careful with lotion, soaps and even diaper rash cream. Through some research we figured out our kids diet had a lot to do with the rashes, so we cut out things like dairy for my son and wheat for my daughter with pretty good results. In the meantime while they did have rash it was nice to be able to lean on Weleda products to know that I wasn’t putting harmful chemicals on my babies already irritated skin.

Weleda has their new White Mallow Collection meant to be effective but ever so gentle. The white mallow collection is so tender and effective that it received the national eczema association seal of acceptance. With 95% organic ingredients you can trust that the white mallow collection was heavily researched and thought out. Nurturing ingredients like organic white mallow and pansy extracts, organic coconut oil and organic safflower oil help to nourish and protect babies skin. I myself found that this collection was thick but very effective at moisturizing. The diaper cream held up to my daughters delicate skin needs and the face cream was something I used myself on very dry days.

I’ve lost faith in some of the traditional baby products (J&J to name one) that have ingredients or practices I don’t agree with. This is a new brand to me but I would totally try it out, especially for sensitive skin.
