A few weeks ago I was on the phone with my dad, telling him a story. I was rambling on for quite a while when I heard a phone ringing. It was really loud, but I was outside alone so my first thought was “Weird someone must have dropped their phone in my yard?” Then I realized it was my phone – the one up next to my head. Apparently the call had dropped and I just kept chattering away because I never even got a dial tone! Of course, it was my dad calling me back and I had to ask him what he heard last and start over again. At least back before cell phones we would get a dial tone if whoever was on the other end of the line hung up. These days we just get silence until we realize we’re talking to ourselves!

Verizon has been a well-known brand for having the best wireless coverage for years now. I remember around 2008 being so impressed that my boyfriend’s phone worked inside of department stores. At the time no other carrier would hold a connection while in a large building, so that was just so cool to me. I was so jealous that Ryan had Verizon when I didn’t because I knew his coverage was a lot stronger than mine. It doesn’t surprise me that recently a third-party, independent tester found Verizon to be the #1 cell service provider for speed, data, reliability and overall network performance in the US. Verizon’s network performance is impressive.

    I didn’t really see any deals different from the original $100 off which is awesome on its own!! I did notice that they waived activation and upgrade fees which is spectacular!! Way to go Verizon!

    I understand how good the reception is with Verizon. I live in the country and it is the only one that get good high speed service out here. I would like it if I needed to upgrade but I do not need to right now. But it is a good deal for others.

    LG G4 – I have an LG now and I like it but it is old and i have prepaid right now – we are thinking about switching to a paid plan – verizon is our carrier

    I would choose the Samsung Galaxy S6 if I won! I am not a fan of Apple at all. Until last year I have used Verizon since 2003 and absolutely love them! They truly do have the best coverage. I only use Virgin for their Go Phones because I didn’t realize Verizon had pay as you go phones too. I will definitely try to make the switch soon.

    I would chose the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. I don’t like I phones, have always preferred Galaxy phones. I like the fact it has a large 5.7 screen & the S-pen seems that it would be very helpful. I’m alawys hitting the wrong buttons on my phone & it would help prevent that.

    I’m looking at all the deals they’ve had in the past to see what phone and service makes sense for me now. I’ve had my current phone for ages and it’s time to shop and compare. Always seems to be different deals out there though.
