Commercial Silk Int'l ~ Offering Artificial Plants, Trees, Flowers, & More

While I do not claim to be great at it, I do enjoy decorating and changing up my yard and house.  Whether with a new tablecloth, chic throw pillows, wreath on the door, or some new plants and flowers, I enjoy seeing how such small details can really change the look and feel of a space.  While I do purchase my fair share of real flowers and plants, I do enjoy picking up some artificial ones as well.

Benefits To Using Artificial Versus Real

  • The main one is that they last longer!  When I pick up a bouquet of  fresh flowers for my table, at most, they will last two weeks.  And that’s being generous as they truly only look spectacular for the first week.  So utilizing artificial means that I can enjoy the piece for much longer.
  • They can look quite real!  I’ve been amazed at how life-like some of the artificial pieces I’ve seen actually look.  Of course, there are always exceptions but I’ve been pleasantly surprised at what I’ve found available.
  • Lots of variations and choices available.  Now, I don’t have to wait for certain things to be “in season” as I can enjoy a multitude of choices all year round.
  • Prices for all budgets.  I can typically find something appealing in almost any price range.  I especially enjoy finding things on sale that I may hold on to till next year even.

I’d rather have my own plants that give off oxygen.

Although I love real fresh flowers and plants these are really beautiful and I would love to have some of them in my home. I love the yellow flowers in the picture above. I do have some silk flowers and these ones look so real.

I like both real and silk. The silk do last longer and I like that. I use them to supplement my real flowers.

I like artificial simply because I can’t keep real alive for long. I joke that I have a “black” thumb.

I’ve had both silk flowers and green silk trees and loved them. Right now where I live though, it’s super dusty near a freeway, an airport, and a busline, so I’d be dusting them off daily, lol. I’d love to get more in the future though, just at a different apartment.

I am amazed how realistic the silk flowers and trees look now. Gone are the ‘plastic ‘ artificial days. These look real!
I have some older silk flowers and they are so pretty. They take some dusting now and again but look so pretty, it is nicer than fresh and i can look at them during the winter!

These flowers look so realistic, how beautiful! I love fresh flowers too, but it’s nice to have some around the house that last forever and that you don’t have to worry about watering! 🙂
