I love finding ways to make our home unique and welcoming. When we first redid our upstairs, I had the bright idea that I could make our daughter’s walls look like sky and clouds. That lasted all of one wall before I realized I had no idea what I was doing and painted over everything with a solid color! So, while I’m definitely not artistic or a decorator by any means, over the years, I’ve found some pretty cool ways to spruce things up a little. Most recently, I’ve been able to transform a wall just off the kitchen into a beautiful world of its own with the help of MyLoview.
Since this wall in right off our main floor kitchen, it’s a high traffic area that is seen by anyone and everyone who enters our home. I had originally painted it a neutral color and hung a nice framed print there but it just didn’t give a nice “wow” effect. So I spent the better part of two days combing through the endless options over at MyLoview.com before settling on their Wall Mural Early Morning On The Green Summer Meadow.
I kept coming back to this particular style because the bright green grass and gorgeous skyline kept drawing me in. Once the Mural arrived, I immediately knew I had made the right choice! It was EVERY bit as gorgeous in person as on screen. One thing to note, MyLoview offers customized products so I was able to provide my wall measurements as well as crop to my preference so this mural would cover my entire wall.
MyLoview.com sent this mural packaged in a very solid tube and wrapped in additional paper as well. The ends of the tube were even stapled shut with multiple stapes that took some work to get out! It was very protected and I was happy to see the care taken when packaging.
My wall was large enough that the Early Morning On The Green Summer Meadow Wall Mural Sticker came in two sheets. We spread them out on the table and prepped the first piece by removing a small section of the backing from the top of our first panel.
By having two of us working together, we were able to keep the large panel straight. As one would press and smooth, the other would slowly continue pulling the backing off, pausing momentarily if any bubbles needed to be worked out.
Because I had measured from the floor to the ceiling, we did need to trim off a little from the bottom of each sheet. This was easy to do using a sharp utility knife and, at times, a straight edge (ruler).
The second panel went up just as smoothly, however, that side had both an outlet as well as light switch. So as we came to each area, we just cut away an opening large enough to accommodate the fixtures.
The finished wall looks absolutely breath-taking! Having two people put up the wall sticker really helped as you said. I’ve wrestled with projects like this by myself and it was no fun. I do like the meadow and it looks very welcoming.

would love something like this on my wall………… live in a apartment and ALL walls are white and cannot paint

They have several options. The one I have is the “wall sticker version” so it’s easy on, easy off and moveable. They do offer more permanent variations as well. Perhaps call them or email them before placing your order to ensure you get the right version!
