The popularity of the classic past time of coloring has now grown into adulthood.  While my sister and I grew up coloring hours upon hours each day, that enjoyment waned as we grew older as the idea of an adult coloring book just hadn’t surfaced yet.  While I didn’t mind coloring the simple pictures in books when younger, single object pictures lose their appeal with age.  So when I first learned about adult coloring books recently, I was extremely thrilled.  Once again, I can enjoy this nostalgic hobby and it’s even better when I get to sit down and do it with our daughter.  But then, I began to wonder if I was going to be forever stuck using our (poor quality) kindergartener’s pencils and markers.  Thankfully, I have found an upgrade in that department too!

Sending a big thank you to Prismacolor for sending me these goodies!

I love the fine tip markers. I have two coloring books and use colored pencils but the fine tip markers would be really great.

My daughter is an artist and uses a lot of Prismacolor products. She does not have the Prismacolor Premier Fine Tip Illustration Markers, but I know they would be wonderful for her to use.

I love that picture of you and your daughter coloring together! Adorable! I’ve always liked Prismacolor colored pencils. I have never tried their fine tip markers, though. They look like they have a ton of color payoff. I can’t wait to give them a try!

Back when I was into drawing more (before I got into the internet ha!) I used to use Prismacolor all the time. I still have some somewhere and the pencils are fantastic. I havent tried the fine tip markers yet, but if they are anything like their other products which they look like they would be great tools to have for coloring!

I think I preferred markers as a kid but now I like the soft colored pencil colors, sort of like watercolors. I have plenty of coloring pages and books to color that I’ve collected over time. I need to take advantage of the back to school sales and get some new colored pencils like these.
