Well, it’s 11pm and I just finished tucking in our very exhausted household of children.  With Summer winding to a close, my husband and I wanted to do something fun and exciting with the kiddos to end this season with a bang.  So we decided to head to a local Comfort Brand Hotels for a mini-vacation, courtesy of Comfort Brand Hotels.  We were super excited to partner with them and made lasting memories as a family.  The room was spacious, the water park and pool areas were clean, set up nicely, and oh so fun, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Comfort Brand Hotels Celebrates Giveback Campaign with #ComfortSaysThanks: Today until Wednesday, August 24, participating Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites hotels around the country invited service groups — such as first responders, teachers and volunteers — in their local communities to enjoy free breakfasts featuring the brand’s signature hot waffles to “say thanks” for doing their part to help transform their communities for the better. Additionally, the Comfort brand called upon the support of consumers to help them donate waffles to chapters of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, a Choice Hotels partner, in support of their breakfast program. We’re encouraging people to help us build the donation through use of the hashtags #ComfortSaysThanks and #NationalWaffleDay on social media channels.

Speaking about that delicious breakfast, did I happen to mention waffles?  Comfort Inn & Suites offers a large spread of yummy breakfast items including hot off the iron waffles!  We simply filled the cup with batter, poured into the iron, closed the lid, and in very little time at all, we were devouring our hot and scrumptious waffles.  They were a big hit with the entire family.

As Comfort Inn & Suites strives to not only offer Rewards Earned & Rewards Delivered, they are also on a mission to say thanks in honor of the brand’s annual National Waffle Day celebration.

Today, through Wednesday, August 24th, 2016, participating Comfort Inn and Comfort Suites hotels all over the country have been inviting service groups such as first responders, teachers and volunteers, to enjoy a hot breakfast featuring their signature fresh and hot waffles as their way of saying thank you.

Not only are they reaching out to honor these community members, Comfort Inn & Suites is asking you to help and it’s really easy.  Simply use of the hashtags #ComfortSaysThanks and #NationalWaffleDay on social media channels to help build the donations of waffles to chapters of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, a Choice Hotels partner.
