Well, another month has come and gone since I have boarded the reusable menstrual cup train and never plan to disembark! It amazes me when I mention reusable cups to others, I’ve had one of two responses so far. If the person has heard of and tried, they absolutely adore and agree that this product is a game changer for women. If the person has not heard of such a thing or has very little info, they are slightly intrigued but a little afraid and hesitant. Since I have had such a great experience, I’ve been trying to spread the word about this product. I just want women to have the info and, possibly, be able to make a change that may revolutionize their periods! This time, I’ve partnered with Anigan for a review.
The Anigan EvaCup offers an eco-friendly hygienic tampon or pad alternative to handling periods. The EvaCup Period Cup is made from FDA approved medical grade silicone and provides a safe, reliable, comfortable, and affordable alternative that can be safely used by women and girls of all ages.
If a reusable menstrual cup is completely new to you, don’t worry! Head over to Anigan’s “How To Use A Menstrual Cup Page” that is loaded with educational content. In just six simple steps, they walk you through the ins and outs of the EvaCup, holds and folds, how to clean, and more. They even offer diagrams and a video tutorial to make it really easy to understand!
My Thoughts: The EvaCup is the second reusable menstrual cup I’ve tried so now I have a little more to go on. I’ve found the EvaCup to be super easy to use as it offers a sturdy, yet flexible design. (It’s slightly “sturdier” than the previous cup I’ve used so it offers that “pop” opening that I had heard about. Neither option is better than the other, it just comes to preference on whether a softer cup or sturdier cup is preferred.)
I absolutely love the reusable part of the EvaCup. Owning just one or two cups can provide years of use with proper care and cleaning. I am already seeing dollar signs with how much money I will be SAVING instead of buying a box of throw-away products each month! Plus, I don’t want to start complaining about women bathrooms that don’t have a garbage can readily available! (I truly do not understand this and it used to really stress me out!) With the EvaCup, I no longer have to worry.
Emptying my EvaCup just twice a day has worked well for me. I’ve found that it’s super easy and quick if I just do it in the shower each morning! I love the fact that, throughout the day, I have actually been able to completely forget that I’m even having my period thanks to reusable menstrual cups! If you’re on the fence, feel free to head over and read a bit more on my first Reusable Menstrual Cup Post. However, my honest opinion is that I’d totally recommend the EvaCup and have been to all my friends and family!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I totally agree with you that you either love these or hate them, usually not knowing a thing about them. I wish they had been invented sooner! It’s a great service to the girls by posting this review and info too.

I have been wanting to try a cup for a while. This seems like a great one to try. I like that it seems sturdy. I may look into purchasing one!

I have been wanting to try one of these cups, I am a little nervous about it making a mess in the removal process. I usually use tampons but with the risk of toxic shock it can be scary and such a risk

I have tried another brand of cup but it was too firm. Hoping that the evacup is a better fit for me.

I have been dying to try the cup. I avoided it for a while after a tampon scare but the more I learned the more I wanted to try one.
Ive seen a lot about these online and always wondered how well they worked and how comfortable they were. Thanks for the review!
