I was sent a 3D coin art puzzle. I was compensated for this post. All opinions are my own.
I was 8 years old when the 50 State Quarters started coming out in 1999. I remember being fascinated by them, as I couldn’t remember seeing money changing appearance before that. My mom bought my siblings & I some books that were designed to hold two quarters for each state, one from each mint. I’ve always lived in Michigan so I was eager for Michigan to come out, but knew it wouldn’t happen until 2004 which seemed so far away when I was 8 in 1999.
I was recently sent a 3D Coin Art puzzle for review and it made me a little nostagic when remembering those state quarter books! However, the 3D Coin Art puzzle isn’t designed for any ‘special’ or newly mint coins. Instead it’s designed for just any, everyday pennies, dimes and nickels. The one I was sent comes in the shape of a flag and it holds $25 worth of coins in the form of 50 dimes, 318 nickels and 410 pennies.
It also comes with two coin counters, that are designed to let you stack your coins in groups of 10. I plan to use this to hold my loose change initially, and then once the coin counter gets full then I will open up the 3D Coin Art flag and add it in. I almost never use loose change anymore so I like how this is a fun way to collect and store my coins instead of letting them go unused. Plus, once it’s completed I will know that I have $25 worth of coins so then it is a reasonable time to roll them up and turn them in for dollar bills and start over again!
The instructional packet that comes with the set explains which order to add coins in, and how to clean your coins to make them as shiny as possible for the display.
Win it: We are hosting a giveaway for a 3D Coin Art Flag. This is a $19.99 value.
To enter: Fill out the form below by 11:59pm EST on 9/16/2016.

I love this its fun and unique and educational I can see my kids counting all the change in the rows.
How unique and I’ve only had a small piggy bank for my coins. I use my loose change though. This would be an awesome gift for anyone, old or young.
