Most young girls love dolls. I know I was a huge fan for many years. While our older daughter wasn’t much into “baby dolls” when she was younger, now at age 11, she is definitely interested in the larger 18″ friend dolls. So when I learned about Adora Dolls 18″ Fashion Play Doll line, I was super excited. They are a bit more affordable than the AG line and, yet, we think they are definitely just as cute.

After scouring the 18″ Friends Line, we settled on the spunky and sweet Lola Adora Friends Doll. With eyes that open and close, she is friendly, fun, and offers an engaging play experience. Her adorable multi-colored outfit reminded us of a rainbow and we especially loved the pink streak we can attach in her hair. Her 4-piece ensemble includes: knit tank featuring a polka dot bow, pink leggings, tri-colored tutu, and classic white shoes.
Lola is a great companion and our daughter loves playing with her and styling her hair. The included extension ties into the current popularity of girls coloring streaks of their own hair. Also included is a comb for easier styling fun.
Adora Dolls also offers a variety of accessories to fit their 18″ Friends Doll Line so we chose the Cool Weather 2 Fall looking outfit and Purple Buckle Boots to accommodate Lola with the change in seasons. Because who doesn’t love changing their dolls clothes, right!?!
Both the outfit and boots feature details to make them more realistic and fun. The outfit comes complete with buttons and even two small pockets on the top while the boots offer soft fur and faux buckles that actually open and close with hook and loop.
All in all, Adora Dolls has, once again, exceeded our expectations. They offer so many high quality and fun dolls and accessories and Lola has been a huge hit in our home.

I love the larger dolls. When my bigger sister and I were little, she had this life-size doll, about as big as me! Larger dolls are so much fun and many different things you can enjoy with them, compared yo a smaller doll. I love her braid too!

The doll is so pretty! I did a double take though because I thought the doll was called Alora not Adora. My daughter’s name is Alora.
