I first heard about Groupon through my mother-in-law. She often gives really thoughtful gifts that include an experience. For example, one year for Christmas she paid for a hotel experience for us that included a pizza and movie night provided by the hotel! She’s also taken her grandkids and their parents to camp in little cabins, horseback riding, and camping on the beach. She uses Groupon to find out about events or experiences available in our state, and then she saves money on them by purchasing tickets through Groupon. It’s so thoughtful, and it has provided for some truly unique gift experiences.
However, Groupon isn’t just for fun experiences for kids. I was in a wedding with my sister when she 7 and she loved getting her hair done with the rest of us. It’s hard to believe she was 7 in this picture. She was so petite for her age.
The deals available will be specific to your location but some neat ones that are available in many areas include massage, beauty or spa treatments, and hair services. What woman wouldn’t love to get a relaxing massage followed by some spa pampering and a new haircut or style as a gift. I love being pampered, but I also like getting a great deal. I love that Groupons beauty coupons let you have the best of both worlds.

I LOVE Groupon although I do not use it enough. I should really be using it more. they have such great deals on there. This mommy could really use some pampering. The best deal I got was a photography course I purchased to help better my camera skills 🙂

I have used Groupon more often in the past, and found some great electrolysis deals. Not really pampering but a convenient beauty treatment! The last Groupon I purchased a few months ago was for recertifying my CPR and I got such a great deal. I need the healthcare provider’s CPR by the American Heart Association and those can be costly. Mine cost around $25 with Groupon and it wasn’t too far out of my way to drive, with a smaller class size, plenty of practice time, and received my card the same day.

I looked into groupon ages ago and there was just never anything in our area :/ I always wondered why since it is a midsized town and the adjoining is a college town. I havent looked lately, and maybe I should they may have caught on more. I would love to find some decent deals out there!
