Making fun memories with our kids is really important to us. So we strive to set the unimportant things in life aside from time to time and play a game, go on a walk, play in the sandbox, or some other fun activity. Since I particularly enjoy cooking and baking, that is one of my go-to areas to also include the kids. From the time they can walk, they tend to love joining me up at the island stirring, dumping, and pouring. As they get older and their skill levels increase, I even encourage them to measure, cut, roll, and even direct the recipe to everyone. Not only is this fun bonding time, it’s educational! However, one thing I’ve noticed is that the kids truly enjoy when they have kitchen tools that are their size. Even though it was tough to decide on one, I decided to review the Cookies For Santa Cookie Making Set. Each year, the kids and I make Lemon Sugar Cookies to hand out to family, friends, and residents at the local nursing home. Since it’s not actually Christmas yet, we decided on making a batch of Sugar Cookies utilizing the tools and cookie presses. This was actually the very first time any of us have had experience using cookie presses so we pushed a little too hard a few times but then our 9 year old actually strutted into the kitchen and used one perfectly! So after he showed everyone what he did, the rest of us were able to successfully create gorgeous images too.
The final results were absolutely D*E*L*I*C*I*O*U*S! The kids loved this kit of easy-to-use and kid friendly sized pieces and we all thoroughly enjoyed the results.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters.
