Thank you to TrackR for sending us the TrackR bravo for review!

TrackR bravo

My husband has tons of wonderful qualities; he is sweet, funny, hard working, a fantastic father, and the list goes on. However, being organized and keeping track of things is not one of his strong suits. He is constantly asking, “Have you seen my wallet?”. Although most of the time the wallet is nearby, last winter he lost his wallet for good. We have no idea where it went. Along with losing the wallet came the pain of having to cancel the credit card, re-order a Driver’s License, etc. At that time we talked about how it would be nice to have something that would be able to locate lost items. Enter the TrackR bravo.

The TrackR was invented by two friends in California. They lost their car keys at the beach and the rising tide almost washed away their car parked in the sand. Luckily, they found their keys and saved the car with the help of a good samaritan with a metal detector. After that experience the pair set out to create a device that would not only keep track of their keys, but everything they owned.

As soon as we got our TrackR bravo we attached it to the inside of my husband’s wallet and downloaded the app on my husband’s smart phone. We like the thin design, as it fits easily into the wallet without adding much bulk. It is made out of anodized aluminum and feels sturdy even though it is quite thin.

When looking for the lost item the app shows you if you are getting closer to or farther away from the item you are looking for. In the house, the TrackR bravo worked perfectly. We could easily find my husband’s wallet no matter where we put it. If however the wallet was left outside in a vehicle and we were inside it had a hard time locating it until we went outside. Once outside it was able to lead us to the vehicle to find it. We hope that with the addition of the TrackR we never have the issue of a truly lost wallet ever again.

  • I read about these, I really need one for my wallet!

  • Oh my gosh! I’ve seriously been needing one of these! I lose something about every ten minutes and my phone is the only thing I can ever find easily. I have to either call it from someone else’s or send a code via my computer to turn the ringer on. LOL

My husband and yours must be related in some way. No kidding he loses everything- his keys, his wallet, and you name it. He must think I aam magical because I normally know where things are like in his pants pocket. I need to attach one of these to my husband’s head, because he would lose that if at all possible.

This is a great idea. I have a nephew who is always losing his wallet, cell phone, head… well almost! thank goodness that is screwed on! His mom is always trying to help him – this would be perfect for him!

The idea is great, no doubt. THE RIP OFF TOO! hundreds of people have paid for this prodct and have nothing in return. If you write them they told you they’re overwhelmed with demand but don’t give you any delivery date or refund option (that when they reply at all)
