Yookidoo sent me toys. All opinions are my own. There is an affiliate link in this post.
Babies grow up so quickly. It’s hard to believe that my youngest nephew Royce will be turning one on Saturday! It feels like he was just born. He’s crawling like a pro, and even climbing up onto furniture like a pro. He isn’t quite walking independently yet but I suspect that milestone will be met any day now.
By Christmas, he will be 13 months old. I turned to Yookidoo for two toys for him this year.
The Crawl ‘N’ Go Snail is a two-in-one toy aimed at babies 6-24 months old. When fully assembled it makes a snail that is on wheels which can be pushed along the floor. This is perfect for him right now while he’s crawling. The shell of the snail pins as you push the snail along, and the snail’s head turns from side to side encouraging kids to keep pushing (and crawling) along. It can play music, and it has an on/off button if you want to use it silently.
The spinning shell can come off, and it becomes the second toy – a ring stacker!
The second toy that I got for Royce is called the Musical Duck Race. This is a unique bath toy that is aimed at kids 6-36 months old. Yookidoo has several cool bath toys that squirt or spray water. It’s hard to find a little kid who doesn’t love water, and Royce is no exception. I actually have a hard time keeping him out of my dogs’ water bowl! Over the summer I filled up a dishpan tub with water and set it out in the grass, with a few toys and measuring cups and he played for over an hour. The Yookidoo Musical Duck Race toy draws water from your bath tub and creates a fountain. It also has a ring on the outside, with ducks that spin in a circle “racing” each other. There are four ducks, and each one makes a different spraying effect when placed on the top of the fountain, and makes its own sound. The toy makes 9 different sounds in total. I can see this toy being enjoyed boy Royce and his older siblings! It’s hard to describe this one in words so here is a video to show it off better.
For developmental and bath toys for the little ones on your list check out Yookidoo. They have several unique path toys that are unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere.
