We don’t have any television channels, cable, or even Netflix in our home so we rely solely on DVDs for screen time entertainment.  The main place I turn to when looking to add to our collection happens to be Mill Creek Entertainment.  They offer a huge selection as they are the industry’s leading provider of value DVD compilations.  Today, I’m happy to partner with them to share a couple of their newest releases with you.

The second new release I wanted to mention is It’s Ernest.  Now this is a blast from my past as I still remember watching Ernest Goes To Camp, which was a 1987 success.  Ernest Mania was in full force through my childhood and I have vivid memories of visiting my grandpa’s brother and his wife and watching all the different Ernest episodes that they had on their beloved VCR tapes!  This southern bumpkin was hilarious and episodes include:

  • Hey Vern, It’s Clothing
  • Hey Vern, It’s Scary Things
  • Hey Vern, It’s Movies
  • Hey Vern, It’s Magic

  • Hey Vern, It’s Food
  • Hey Vern, It’s Holidays

So if you’re looking for a laugh, Ernest will give it to you!

The history videos look great. I always like combining learning and history is always a good thing to learn. I also like Earnest. I like how he is good clean fun. Slapstick and silliness. Good choices!

I have never heard of the Liberty kids history series, they sound really entertaining and educational. It reminds me of the Magic School Bus episodes we used to watch as kids. I still remember some of the stuff I learned from those!
