I am a Nutrisystem blogger. I am provided with a Nutrisystem meal plan in return for sharing regular updates. All opinions are my own.
Leaf is a portion of the Nutrisystem website that shares hacks, tips, health info and more. It’s a great place to subscribe to for motivation and inspiration while on the Nutrisystem meal plan. However, if you are just looking to eat healthy or lose weight it’s great for that too!
Something that caught my eye on Leaf this week was the article 15 hearty Nutrisystem Meals For Meat Lovers.
With as long as Ryan has been on Nutrisystem, we are well aware that Nutrisystem offers many meat-based entrees. However, the article reminded me of how we weren’t sure what to expect the food to be like on Nutrisystem. When many people think of a low-calorie based meal plan, they expect it to include very little meat. They think of salads and veggies. Of course, veggies are an important part of healthy eating and they are part of the Nutrisysem meal plan. However, you don’t have to “eat like a rabbit” on Nutrisystem. While only a few of Ryan’s favorite entrees are meat based (such as the hamburger, and stuffed chicken breasts) MANY other entrees have meat in them. For example, the chicken noodle soup or chicken pot pie.
Nutrisystem focuses on protein to keep you feeling full while eating low calorie, which is why meat fits well on the plan. Plus, PowerFuels can include low fat meat if you choose. Examples of meat PowerFuels would be low-fat ham, fish, shrimp, salmon, tuna, turkey breast and more.

They all look great. I’ve been eating a lot of low fat meat myself lately. I’m sure I can make use of their tips so I’ll go take a look at their site.
Awesome pic of the food! -

It sounds like Nutrisystem is setting you up to eat healthy for life, not just while you are “on a diet”.
I am always amazed at how Nutrisystem can keep coming up with good food and keep on the program. If I needed to lose weight I would choose them as my program.
