Cubbie Lee Toys was founded by Zach and Sarah Lee. When they had their first child they quickly became aware of how difficult it was to get good quality toys that were still affordable. They wanted toys that provided educational value, were heaps of fun, and that last.  Zach and Sarah decided to take matters into their own hands and the Cubbie Lee Toy Company was born. The name comes from their beloved family dog. Today, Zach and Sarah work with a team of toy-lovers to bring the finest wooden toys to parents around the United States. I had never heard of Cubbie Lee Toys before this review opportunity. Now, after hours and hours of playtime with their toys, our family has fallen in love with Cubbie Lee Toys!

Cubbie Lee Toys offers multiple wooden puzzles. I appreciate that the pieces are painted on all sides. The little animals are so cute! The chunky pieces are easy for my daughter to hold and try to place. It is a two in one toy. Even though it is designed to be used as a puzzle, the animal puzzle pieces can also be used for imaginative play. This puzzle is hand crafted and built to last!

The Cubbie Lee Toys Shape Sorter includes ten wooden blocks in ten different shapes and four colors. The box is made of sustainable wood and has a hinged lid. All of the blocks store easily inside and it also has a carry strap for portability. Ten shapes is a little tricky yet for my daughter, but it is teaching her patience and persistence as she tries the shapes in the different holes to see where they fit. This shape sorter and all of Cubbie Lee’s toys are covered by a five year warranty and are tested to the very highest safety testing standards to give parents total peace of mind.

The Cubbie Lee Toys Fruit Chopping Set including a knife, chopping block, apple, banana, kiwi, lemon, orange, and strawberry. This fruit chopping set is beautiful! The details are awesome! I love the little felt leaves on the strawberry and apple and the little seed details. Each fruit can be sliced in half using the wooden knife and then can magically be put back together using the velcro. This toy set is meant for kids ages two and up, but my 17 month old daughter thinks it is wonderful! She likes to match the halves together and pretend to cut them apart.

My daughter loves blocks! We got the Cubbie Lee 80 piece Alphabet Block Set. I look forward to using the alphabet blocks to help her learn her letters in the future. For now, she likes to help us build towers and then knock them down with her hands or feet. The blocks are created using sustainably sourced SGS certified beech and juniper wood, are made to last a lifetime. This block set is also crafted with non-toxic paints, which makes it safe for infants or young toddlers’ hands and mouths.

The Cubbie Lee Toys Noah’s Ark set features Noah, his wife, the ark and 14 animals in adorable pairs. The animals easily store inside the ark when not in use. I love the hinged ramp and the cute animal cut outs and port holes on the ark. Animals include alligators, hippos, zebras, lions, elephants, giraffes and of course doves!
