It’s been really interesting to me to see how much our culture surrounding smoking and tobacco has shifted in my life time. I’m 26, and as a child I knew a few people who smoked in their houses regularly. As I moved towards my teens, I realized that all the smokers I knew had shifted to going outside to smoke. Also while I was in my teens, my state passed a law so that restaurants, bowling alleys and even bars cannot allow smoking inside. This caused a lot of discussion for about a year, but people quickly got used to the change. I can’t imagine walking into a restaurant and smelling smoke these days! Yet until 2009 it was a common experience.
Now, more and more people are turning to vaping and using e-cigarettes instead of traditional cigarettes. Black Note is a brand of e-liquids, and I love how right on their front page it says that e-liquid is the second-best alternative to quitting smoking, because quitting is the best option. It’s a little rare to see that kind of blatant honesty!
Black Note tobacco e-liquid flavors are naturally extracted from tobacco leaves. They are coil friendly, meaning they do not degrade replaceable coils quickly like synthetic e-liquids do. They intentionally avoid flavors that are considered by the FDA to be appealing to minors. I’ve seen e-liquids before that have flavors that sound like candy or snow cone flavors or something. You won’t find that at Black Note. Plus, they contain no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners or chemical additives. They even advertise that they include nothing that you can’t pronounce. A big reason why people prefer e-cigarettes or vaping to traditional cigarettes is because of how they contain fewer chemicals and ingredients in general. If you’re switching for that reason, it just makes sense to choose an e-liquid that has minimal ingredients, and simple ingredients, right?
The Black Note website has really high numbers of reviews on each of their liquid. At the moment, their Sonata liquid has 451 reviews! With so many reviews to read-over, it’s easy to get a really clear idea of what to expect from the flavor which I appreciate. You can also use the overall ratings to get a feel for which flavors are the most popular in general.

I haven’t tried this brand. Here I should admit that I had totally quit and was just using eCigarettes and then, bam I was back at it. I feel so angry with myself. It was in part because the eCigs tasted so bad, I should try this one – seriously – I will report back!
I’ve never tried this before. Thanks for sharing.
