Thank you to Master Of Mixes for providing me with products in exchange for this honest blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.

We are blessed to be able to host family gatherings and parties in our home. When we all get together, we typically have between 30-40 people over. It is a lot of fun to have that many people gather in one place.

This summer, we have had a couple family gatherings. With the warm weather, I wanted to be able to offer a festive cool drink to our guests. I used Master of Mixes to create an assortment of mocktails. Master of Mixes are beverage versatile beverage blends. You have the option of adding alcohol to make them a true cocktail or to add club soda/sparkling water to make them mocktails. I chose to make mocktails so that the kiddos could also enjoy them.

In the photos above, you can see that I added sparkling water to my Big Bucket of Blue Hawaiian Mixer. Following the directions on the back of the bucket, we mixed our beverage in the bucket, replaced the lid and released the valve. We placed it in the freezer for 24 hours and then mixed again. We had a festive Blue Hawaiian mocktail slushy for our party. Our guests from 2 years old and up, enjoyed the cool beverage.

I thought I would also share a recipe I found on the Master of Mixes website, Strawberry Colada Swirl.

Ingredients
– 5 oz Master of Mixes Piña Colada Mixer
– 1 oz Master of Mixes Strawberry Daiquiri/Margarita Mixer
– 2 oz rum (can be replaced with club soda/sparkling water*)
*this drink is also great as a non-alcoholic mocktail

Directions
– In a blender add 1 oz Master of Mixes Strawberry Daiquiri/Margarita Mix to the bottom of the glass and set aside.
– Blend together 2 oz rum/non-alcohol beverage and 5 oz Piña Colada Mixer.
– Pour over Master of Mixes Strawberry Daiquiri/Margarita Mix.
– Stir and serve.

I am thinking about making the (non-alcoholic) Strawberry Colada Swirl and then freezing it in popsicle molds. This sounds like a refreshing treat to enjoy by the pool!

The sangria mix sounds good although the recipe you shared sounds tasty also. I will have to look for these the next time I’m shopping.

I prefer the mocktails truthfully! In the summer, alcohol really isnt the nest option it doesnt hydrate well. I like the different options and he many choices. I also like how mocktails can be enjoyed by everyone.
