I have been on Nutrisystem for close to a year. To this day, their are still Nutrisystem foods that I haven’t tried. One of them is the Nutrisystem Whole Grain Soft Pretzel. I really don’t know why I have never tried this before. I like soft pretzels; just for what ever reason, I have never ordered one. After seeing a Tasty Twist recipe for the Nutrisystem Whole Grain Soft Pretzel, I can guarantee they will be on my next order!

Take a look at the Nutrisystem Salted Chocolate Pretzel Bread Pudding!

Ingredients:
1 Nutrisystem Whole Grain Soft Pretzel, defrosted and left to harden overnight
2 tsp. of mini chocolate chips, divided
¼ cup egg whites
¼ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2-3 drops of liquid stevia (You can buy liquid stevia in different flavors. I think I will use caramel flavored liquid stevia!)
½ tsp. vanilla extract
Sprinkle of kosher sea salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mist 1-cup ramekin with nonstick cooking spray.
Tear or cut pretzel into small bite-sized pieces and place in ramekin. Sprinkle in 1 tsp. of chocolate chips.
In a liquid measuring cup, whisk together egg whites, almond milk, stevia and vanilla extract. Pour mixture over pretzels. Push down pretzels with the back of a spoon to ensure that all pretzels are saturated with the liquid.
Bake, uncovered, for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool slightly. Top with remaining chocolate chips and sprinkle of sea salt before serving.

Doesn’t it look amazing?! The richness of the sweet custard combined with the dense pretzel and the sprinkling of sea salt…yum! I look forward to trying the Nutrisystem Whole Grain Soft Pretzel…in the Salted Chocolate Pretzel Bread Pudding. I can imagine eating Salted Chocolate Pretzel Bread Pudding, next to a campfire with family and friends or a good book. <3
