Just recently, our family headed down to Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum to learn more about the days of Noah and the flood as well as the history of creation. While our family reads our Bibles almost daily, it’s really neat to see some of these things in person too. Another way that we dig deeper in our faith is through DVDs. The debate over the credibility of the Bible has been raging for years. So filmmaker Timothy Mahoney embarks on a 12 year journey around the world to search for answers to the question about Exodus, “Is this foundational event of the Bible really just a myth?” Through a combination of scientific investigation, the retelling of the Exodus story, and an amazing pattern of evidence matching biblical accounts, this DVD just may challenge a person’s understanding of history. I felt the compelling evidence of Old Testament provided in Patterns Of Evidence shared quite the persuasive argument to the validity of the Biblical record of Exodus.
Overall, Patterns of Evidence is an engaging, fascinating film. Truly a historical documentary that is a great watch for everyone, Christians and non-Christians alike.
