Stampede bikes sprinter 14 review

Thank you to Stampede for providing me with product in exchange for review purposes. All opinions belong to me.

I remember the day my son got his first pedal bike, he was 5 and it took him matter of days to master. At that same moment I think everyone who was within earshot of my three year old daughter heard that she didn’t have a pedal bike. My husband and I heard her sing this complaint in song lyrics and throughout her pretend phone conversation for what felt like months. I knew that she still needed to grow a bit and master her balance bike a bit more so we waited.

After measuring her recently I realized she would fit on the Sprinter 14 from Stampede. Once it arrived she was looking at the box for quite a while, her brother knew what was inside but held the surprise in for her sake. Once I was ready to open and assemble the bike she mentioned it possibly being her first pedal bike. I gave her a grin and was met with jumping and excited dancing.

Getting all the pieces out and arranged for assembly didn’t take any time. The Sprinter 14 came with tools needed to assemble and instructions.

In total the bike took about an hour at assemble, including filling the tires and adding the small reflectors.

My daughter loved to help assemble the bike by attaching the tire pump and adding air. Unfortunately our back tube ended up having a flat but Stampede promptly sent a replacement.

My daughter loved the color of her bike as it closely matched her brothers.

The seat on the Sprinter 14 bike was a bit bigger than her old bike and therefor sat up a bit more than was comfortable for her. We ended up switching it out for now but have it ready once she hits another growth spurt.

So many elements of this bike are adjustable to uniquely fit your little one! The brake lines are internally routed to avoid tangles. The seat post has a quick release clamp for easy adjustments. My daughter just turned 3 in march and her hands fit perfectly on the breaks and she is very confidant in being able to use them and stop when needed.

My little one loves having her Sprinter 14 pedal bike although the concept of doing everything at once still makes her nervous, she walks her bike all over our yard and sidewalk. I’m confident she’ll have pedaling down within a week or so.

Doing one at a time right now is taking all of her focus. Her personality type is also very cautious yet, so the more practice the more confidence she will gain!

How exciting for your daugher. I love how much she wanted a bike and her pretend phone conversations. Looks like she was ready to jump right on huh.
