It’s time for school again. The kids in this area started school this week. My daughter is not in school yet, but she still needs a way to get her belongings from home to daycare and back. Until now she has been using a large tote/diaper bag, but since she is becoming a ‘big girl’ I was happy to find something smaller that met her new needs: the Obersee Kids Pre-School All-In-One Backpack with Cooler.
The front pocket of the backpack is a built-in insulated cooler – so kids don’t need to take both a backpack and lunch bag to school. A very neat feature. There is also a mesh drink compartment on the side.
Made specifically with kids ages 3-7 in mind, this backpack is perfect for little ones starting school. The lower back of the backpack and the straps both are made with a padded, breathable mesh to help keep kids cool and comfortable.
It measures 14.5 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. It is big enough to fit standard school folders. The main compartment of the backpack also features pockets for supplies and slots for pens and pencils. There’s also one thin pocket on the very front of the backpack.
The backpack seems well made and sturdy with nice zippers/pulls and a durable feeling material. We chose the butterfly since it has special meaning for my daughter and I, but if it isn’t your little one’s style, there are nineteen other fun designs to choose from.
