You know, they say that apples don’t fall far from the tree. Turns out, that is a fairly accurate statement! My kids are so much like me (almost too much in some ways!) And my youngest, is a complete mini me in the way that she adores babies. She just can’t get enough. Dolls or real, if there’s one in the room, that’s where she’s at. So when I came across the Ashton Drake So Truly Mine line, I just couldn’t wait to see one in person.
A friend of mine shared a photo of her son hugging/holding an Ashton Drake So Truly Mine Baby and EVERYONE thought it was real! So when I saw how great these babies looked in person as well, I was really impressed.
First off, these babies come packaged with much care. They are boxed and covered to ensure they are kept safe during transport to their new home.
Life Like Baby Dolls
Available in a variety of hair and eye color combinations, these life-like babies are crafted with RealTouch vinyl and hand-painted features for the absolute best results possible. They are also weighted and pose-able which adds even more fun to the play. Geared for ages 3 and up, all five of our kids (ages 3-12) are in awe over these adorable little babies.
The So Truly Mine line babies measure 15″ and truly are the most life-like dolls I’ve ever seen created to be toys. They are so easy to fall in love with!
We choose the Baby Girl: red hair and hazel eyed baby since our youngest has red hair and then also the Baby Boy: Light Brown Hair, Blue Eyes. Really, the only difference between the Baby Boy and Baby Girl (other than the hair/eye colors we choose) is the fact that one is wearing a pink sleeper and the other is wearing a blue one. So that’s nice as our kiddos can just change their clothes to accommodate their play.

Goodness gracious, they do look real! I mean they look even more real when a child is holding them! Ashton Drake has always been known for nice dolls.My sister in law collects dolls and has since she was a child. I know she would love this, but my nieces would love them more. Truly a great looking doll.

I love these. The way the doll is wrapped is a bit sinister though! I might get in there and change that packaging before presenting the doll to any child.

These dolls are beautiful and do look realistic. I like that they have their own line of clothing too. They are priced higher than most other dolls, so it’d have to be a special gift if I purchased one.

What a wonderful doll for kids. I love toys that improve imagination in kids but also teach life skills. My daughter would have loved this when she was younger!
