I received product from Put Me In The Story to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
Studies show that reading to children is extremely beneficial. And you may be surprised to learn that includes infants! Not only does reading (to even small babies) promote development of their growing brains, it gives them a good start towards a lifelong love of reading. Plus, it’s a great way to introduce them to good literature. Another benefit is that it helps with speech development. I could truly go on and on as there are even more benefits! So with Christmas nearing, I wanted to share a company that offers customized children’s books to give even more special meaning to a book.
Personalized Children’s Books
Put Me In The Story allows you to create a unique book by offering space on a dedication page to put the child’s name, photo and a special message from you. Not only that, but in most of the books, the stories are customized throughout and feature the child’s name as well as photos! With each turn of the page, kids are delighted and so surprised to see that their Put Me In The Story book is much different than anything they’ve seen before.
Put Me In The Story ~ Perfect For Christmas!
I wanted to showcase two really neat options that Put Me In The Story offers but be sure to visit their site as they have so many more personalized books to choose from. The first one is: Anne Geddess Twelve Days Of Christmas. Our 3 year old daughter LOVES babies so I knew this book would be a hit with her. Plus, I really love how I was able to upload 13 of her photos to be included throughout. The end result is even better than I could have imagined!
The second item I wanted to share from Put Me In The Story is their You! Deluxe Gift Set. This unique little duo comes with the customized book as well as an adorable I Love You Bear. Absolutely perfect for bedtime stories and nighttime snuggles. Kids will enjoy hearing their name encouraging them to reach for the stars and then having a snuggle buddy to sleep with.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I’ve always wanted to get a book like this for my daughter that has her name in it. We have one Shimmer and Shine book that a girl has her name and she thinks it’s so cool, so imagine her face if it was actually saying her name for her!

These are so cute, at an early age I think kids get very excited by the entire concept of being in the story!

So many adorable options. I think the appeal for young children seeing themselves and their names in a book is huge.
I once got a personalized book for my niece about the first day of school. It was a huge hit!
