Practical gifts are always at the top of my radar when it comes to gift giving. Not only does it offer enough resistance to contain the startle reflex of babies, there’s enough stretch that it’s not too binding either. If you’re worried about kids being able to move, let me reassure you. Our daughter could walk, crawl, play, and pick up things easily in her Zippy. The design is truly amazing.
I’m actually a foster mom and every single foster baby we’ve had has been an amazing sleeper. On the foster care group I’m in, many foster moms struggle with this and the Zippy gets recommended time and time again from other foster parents who have experienced this phenomenon. So successful sleeping with a Zipadee-Zip is quite common.
